Triangle Outstanding Performance Stars Awards (TOPS)

TAA's TOPS Awards Ceremony & Gala is taking place on November 20, 2025, at the Embassy Suites Raleigh Durham Research Triangle. This formal event allows us to recognize the multifamily housing industry's top performers and celebrate their success. We will honor both the nominees and recipients of 23 awards directed to both "owner/operator" and "supplier" members of the Triangle Apartment Association.

Award candidates are nominated by their peers and judged anonymously based on relevant criteria, which may include association involvement, professional achievements, and industry-related credentials & certifications.

When you nominate a peer, you're helping shine a light on their dedication, accomplishments, and positive impact on our industry. A nomination not only boosts morale and inspires continued excellence, but it also contributes to a culture of appreciation and recognition across our community.

If you know someone who deserves to be recognized for the hard work they deliver day in and day out, please take this time to nominate them. There is no limit to how many nominations you can submit and there is no fee to nominate.

Process

1. Log In

2. Dashboard - Create Nomination

Follow instructions under My Programs to create your online nomination. To review a list of award categories, questions, and required information before submitting your nomination, please review the Nomination Criteria on the event page.

If you are logged in and wish to return to the nomination page, click on Dashboard in the upper right corner of the page.

3. Save

Between September 15, 2025 and October 15, 2025, your nomination can be saved as a DRAFT until all the required information is completed and attachments uploaded. As each section is complete, you will see a appear in the category tab when the nomination is saved. At any time, you can download and print your nomination by clicking on the icon in the Nomination Summary section.

4. Submit

Upon completion of both the nomination and supplemental form, save your Nomination as FINAL. Download and print a copy of the nomination for your records by clicking on the icon in the Nomination Summary section in the right column. Note: If an update is required prior to the Open Nomination period, you can make the update and resave as FINAL.
